Fireworks In PDLA??

Last year between the 21st and the 27th of November when we were staying in the Playa Paraiso resort at around 11pm there was a spectacular firework display coming from the Playa De Las Americas area.
Does anyone know where abouts that would have been, if it was for a special occasion, or if it occurs weekly or yearly??
Only we will be there again this year at roughly the same time, so wondered if there could be any chance of us going there to see it properly.
Your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Hi debs, as far as i know it was juts a display from one of the hotels , i was there that time too , they have quite big ones near the med hotel

Yes, the Hotel Villa Cortes,next to the Parque Santiago 4, has some amazing fire works displays, as well as the Med Palace.

hi do you know of the date the fire works or the night they are happening we are of to fanabe on the 14th nov for 3 weeks cant wait

Sorry can't give you specific dates.We've been lucky enough to have been there,just at the right time, when the Hotels were having displays...(If I remember correctly, one of those was for the Oriflame convention.)
Can't honestly say if they have any specific celebrations when you're out there,but I hope you get the chance to see them...they were amazing.

Someone told us last winter that they have a weekly firework display from the Bahia del Duque hotel, I do remember there was one on a regular basis that could be seen from LC

Thanks for all your replies, lets hope we time it right to be able to see a display again! Last time we watched it from our balcony, and it was a spectacular display, just would be nice to see it more closely instead of from a big distance!
