We are booked via FC and leaving on 29th November and our tickets turned up on Monday just gone. Might be best to ring and ask to speak to a supervisor.

yeah i spoke to them today, and yesterday and they are being so unhelpful at Thomas Cook. They say its upto first choice as to when they send them!

I think i might ring first choice as i dont fancy picking them up at the airport as this has the makings of everything going wrong :(

arghh i hate it when things like this happen!

If that is how they treat customers then I am not surprised that whenever you go past a travel agent's shop these days, there are very few or no customers in there.

I would be having palpitations by now if that were me. I have had to collect tickets at the airport before now, and I must admit I fretted the night before and while we were driving up to the airport. They were waiting but we were told not to worry, because if the tickets were not waiting for us, we just had to prove we paid for the holiday and they would have printed off new tickets for us.

i know, i cant beliver thomas cook. This is the first package i have booked in a long time and I wont be doing it again, i will stick to good old DIY in future!

Its good to know that someone else has had this experience and it has turned out ok, thanks sydney! :cheers

I must admit I thought my tickets came a lot later than usual, I was beginning to wonder when they'd arrive as everyone and there uncle seemed to be getting theirs. Luckily they came so I had no need to panic but in your position I know for sure that I would. I do hope you get them very soon or you at least receive some positive news from those who are supposed to provide "customer service".

One of our travel agents has now closed, as you said sydney, there was hardly ever anyone in there and in any case they couldn't advise me really, as I knew more about Goa than they did :tup

I am fuming with first choice now! Had an update at 5.15pm from Thomas cook(TC). They lady from TC rang me and had first choice(FC) on the other phone at the same time, she told me that first choice have put a block on my tickets, as I havent rang them to say that i was happy with the changes they made to our flight. I couldnt believe it! i have the letter that states our flights from manchester now stop at gatwick and nowhere on this letter does it say i have to confirm that i agree to these changes. All it says is to ring if you have "concerns".

I told the TC lady this and she went back on the phone to FC and gave them a good roasting! She was great! Now they have said that the block has been lifted and they will send them out tomorrow to TC. So hopefully on Monday I will have my tickets!

So a word of caution, ring up first choice if you have had a letter stating your flight has changed and confirm with them, even though it doesnt say you have to do this on there letter! Arghhhhhhhhhhh........right rant over!
