We're not the type of couple who lie on a beach or sun lounger all day before we had a child. We like somewhere that's got that but with some culture, old towns to explore, a harbour, museums, ruins etc .
We have had had some lovely holidays over the years such as Tuscany and Kyrenia but now we've got a toddler that moves a lot and is into everything we just don't know where would be best or whether we'd better staying on home shores.
We're not keen on the British resorts abroad so we didn't particularly like Paphos except for the great museums and ruins. So we don't want to look at really built up rowdy resorts.
We would have gone back to Italy in a heartbeat but on the baby forums it's been advised not to travel there with the measles epidemic until all vaccinations have taken place.
We did wonder if a city break such as Barcelona would be better but we're just not sure.
Any suggestions?
