And, in my humble opinion, 'The Yellow Brick Road' is also on an 'incline', if you walk from the bottom end of it right up to the top. Not very steep, and certainly not a 'hill', but a definate incline.

The member who has posted at the top of Page 2 HERE says that 'Cardica Hill' reminds them of a "ski jump".

Although as david says, I have never personally heard it referred to as that.

It was a couple of years ago on HT ,a lady asked if the Tropicana gardens would be suitable for them.She had been told by the TA it was on a "slight incline".She and her 2 friends eventually went and enjoyed the holiday but said they stayed in the hotel on an evening because of the "ski slope"!.

I've never found anywhere yet where the ground slopes down from the beach maybe Holland.
If you are central to Levante beach and within four or five blocks of the prom it will be pretty flat. Even walking as far as the Rio Park is hardly a killer.
Then it's just money. The closer you are to the beach, the dearer it gets (and the harder it gets to find a parking space if you drive!)
Don't forget that one thing that is unique to Benidorm is the really "high rise" building. You can have a sea view almost anywhere if you are twenty floors up!

With all due respect, I am not sure I can agree with you on that. I mean, surely would it not depend on what part of the building your room was situated in? Not all Hotel / Apartment rooms face in that direction do they

We always elect for high floor rooms when we stay in Benidorm simply because we find it tends to be a lot quieter the higher up you are.

I have stayed on the top floor of the Rio Park and that room overlooked the wasteland. I have also stayed on the floor below the top floor of the Benidorm Pueblo (formally Barcelo) and that room overlooked the Outdoor Market.
I have also stayed on the top floor of the Castilla, and the only way you could see the sea from that room was if you were to lean right over the balcony (not recommened of course) and look to the left.

I have also stayed in the Monaco and that was on the third floor from the top floor and I could not see the sea from that room.

As more and more High Rise buildings are built in Benidorm, I think the chances of you getting a room with a 'sea-view' will become almost non existent.
The only real way to guarantee (IMHO) a room with a 'sea-view' would be to book a room in one of the many Hotels right on the Promenade front.

Reading the replies may I ask one more question, Can anyone recommend nice 4* apartments on the sea front, the Levante area has been mentioned in a few posts, would this be OK for a nice stroll out in the evenings?
