Here are a list of companies that you will be able to book scheduled flights with. Virgin and British Airways fly direct, some of the American Airlines will have a stop off.

Or you can try charter flights with the following companies, there are other ones out there but these are the ones that spring to mind.

Good luck
First Choice have a lot of good deals to Florida at the moment, depending on when you travel you will get all the benefits of their new long haul service.

Air flights showing a flight on the 1st August for £516 each, thats pretty cheap for August. Also, try a travel agents, you never know what they can come up with and its worth a try!
some travel agents will offer special discounts so they get their booking so i would also sa check that out.
Every year we go to Florida to visit our son, not always at the same time of the year. We usually go for cheap charter flights and live near Birmingham. Is there a website that would tell you which operators fly from which airports at which time of year? My problem is you have to go on a tortuous trail through each operators website, filling in dates, numbers of passengers, and departure airport and when you get to the destination airport, you find they dont fly there (but they might if you start again and put a later date in or start again and put a different departure airport in, the permutations are endless!) After trying various combinations of dates on one operator's site, you then (an hour later) have to repeat for the other 5 or 6 possibles!
For example, this year we would like to fly out in May from a Midlands airport or if not possible then it would have to be Manchester, but can I find out who flies to Orlando in May and from where so I can narrow down my searching?
Thanks for any help.
try starting your search with sky scanner
Skyscanner isnt showing Orlando, Florida or the USA as destination options in any destination boxes..
Its just one of several screen scraper systems here are a few more
Another way is to check the airports website. They all give details of who is flying to where, usually listed under Charter or Holiday Destinations. The only problem is these lists are not always exhaustive, they often are absed on premliminary plans, and by the time the summer comes these may have changed. According to the respective airports websites, operating in May to Orlando are:
Birmingham
Thomsonfly (Britannia) - Thursdays for Thomson Group (Thomson, Skytours, Portland Direct) and MyTravel (Airtours, Direct Holidays)
Thomsonfly (Britannia) - Fridays for Thomson Group (Thomson, Skytours, Portland Direct) and Thomas Cook Group (Thomas Cook, jmc, Sunset)
East Midlands
First Choice Airways - Tuesdays for First Choice Group
Manchester
Air Atlanta - Mondays and Thursdays for Thomas Cook Group*
MyTravel Airways - Tuesdays and Saturdays for MyTravel Group
Monarch - Thursdays for Cosmos and Avro
First Choice Airways - Fridays for First Choice Group
Thomsonfly - Fridays and Saturdays for Thomson Group
Thomas Cook Airlines - Saturday for Thomas Cook Group
Like I said, these are not always 100% accurate. For example, Travel City Direct operate an extensive programme from Manchester to orlando with Air Atlanta, which isn't listed. Then again, I do wonder why Thomas Cook would be using Air Atlanta, maybe thats an error and should read Travel City? Also a quick search threw a Monarch flight on a Monday - not listed on the Manchester site.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the charter market I don't think you'll find a site with a difinitive uop to date list, but a good search of a couple of the ones here should be fine.
hi does anyone know where i can get really cheap flights to sanford airport in orlando for 3 adults for june 2007 1 week thanks
Hi pinkdiesel ..... you don't see where you are travelling from, but I have merged your enquiry with this recent similar topic in the hope that you may find some of the links useful.
Want something from Edinburgh or Glasgow at a push but don't mind if it is a connecting one from London (as long as we can check our luggage right thru!!) or something similar - even a stop over of an hour or so in the US doesn't bother me.
Van't go Virgin as they are Manchester or Gatwick and don't do connections!!
Mandy
hi mandy.. have a look at jetset holidays they may be able to help..we used them a few years back ,they were o.k. regards johndoe
Globespan fly direct from Glasgow and are giving good prices. I would use them for our trip in May (I'm south of Newcastle) but they don't start till June-they do go on until November though.
I wouldn't rule out Virgin or Manchester flights-there's loads of choice from there.
Virgin do connections from Glasgow with BA for £10. to Gatwick. We have used this and are using this again next year. Its great value and the Virgin flight to Orlando is great. Any questions just ask.
Thanks for your replies - with the Virgin / BA connection do you check your luggage right thru from Glasgow or do you have to pick it up in London and checki-in again?
Mandy
On the way to Orlando we had to pick our luggage up at Gatwick and drop it off again just around the corner. We didn't check in again though. The guy just took our bags from us. Wasn't a problem. Coming home, our bags were checked right through and we picked them up at Glasgow.
By the way. We checked in online and arrived in Glasgow just to drop our bags off.
