BA flights will be on sale next month from Manchester,July 08 prices from about £108.00 at the moment. You could also wait to see if Ryan air will operate from Liverpool in the summer

Maybe you should look at Ryanair from East Midlands (obviously depending where you live) and if you could cope with 4hr+ flight with them !! Flights start from 28 October.

They are outside of the traditional Tenerife Tuesday / Friday flight days and go on Wednesdays and Sundays.

We got really reasonable flights from Belfast with Jet2

But we booked the day the winter flights came out, its better to get in early.

Yes book A.S.A.P. with all the airlines, there are no last minute discounts with flight only.

Flew with Ryanair a couple of weeks ago fro ema, same luggage on return from tfs as we had leaving from ema, amazingly it weighed 5 kilos more on return, charged for excess luggage (2 kilos) 20 euros.Weren't the only ones either there quite a few disgruntled passengers. We were lucky some even got charged again for cases plus excess weight. Some may say I am being a bit synical but luggage was exactly the same.Won't use Ryanair again extortionate prices for food and refreshments on flight, and when you add up all the extras up when booking not that cheap, you only get what you pay for

Some flights are more expensive when they are first released. I always watch the prices for a couple of weeks and see if they are going to fall, they often do. I wont pay more that £300 for 2 adults from Bristol.

We paid £250 for 2 adults with easy jet from manchester,2nd week in may, they went down from £308 to £250 in 2 mins :que you have just got to keep looking and try for the best deal.
happy hols everyone.

Interesting comments about Easyjet. I thought about using them for my May holiday. They quoted me £394.00! return, agsint £196.00 with Thomas Cook

Likewise, in Septeber, Easyjet were £295, Thomas Cook £230.

Seems like a rip off to me! How can they charge so much. The May fare is more than I have paid in the past for Club class with BA. Such a shame they no longer fly, having been taken over by Easyjet
