Iam waiting on next summers flights to come out .
Will be booking from Fri 3rd July till the 17th.
I always book with Globespan the day they come out flying from Glasgow but with Ryanair now flying to Tenerife do you think it will be better waiting on their flights becoming available from Prestwick.(Im from Galston in Ayrshire so Prestwick would be better option).
Are Ryanair only doing the block they have out at the moment or will they be extending it to next summer?
Who knows about next years summer schedules?

You might get an answer to your question in the "Flights only"forum theres a Q&A thread on Ryanair!
Anne
Airlines & Airports forum, which unlike the Tenerife forum, are regularly monitored by the aviation experts. As Anne suggests, it may be worth checking or posting there for info.

There are dedicated Q&As topics for both Ryanair and Flyglobespan in the David
Just wanted to add, in case anyone is flying out in December, that I got 3 returns from Easyjet for £350 including baggage allowance.
Are these supposed cheap/budget carriers going to shoot themselves in the foot or is this price set to get unsuspecting people to book now and will con=me down in a month or 2?
wayne, I know exactly what you mean , just tried to get flights for may 2009, ( before the kids break up ) so not quite 'peak times' and I really can't believe how expensive they are !! not a chance will I pay nearly £900 for the 3 of us return ! I really am thinking of long haul at this point, works out about the same AL, even though I don't like the thought of AL.
we booked Easyjet flights a couple of weeks ago to go in November - cost £360 (for 2), same flights now £621 !
I booked in April with Monarch from Luton and paid 280 pounds for two total 9th Dec ret 23 Dec now 260 pounds.
They are not all profitering, I,m happy
Dave
booked a couple of weeks ago, for end of jan, and got just over £100 each with easyjet...
I know we have another flight section
With a few flight companies going to the wall who can give me suitable companies to fly to Tenerife from North of England as Glasgow prices for next summer are way over the £300 mark per person.
I was waiting on Ryanair bringing out summer times from Prestwick but it looks like they are only going to do them up until the end of March
Around the Manchester,Blackpool,Newcastle areas would be fine as they are all only a 3 hour drive and parking for 2 weeks would not be more than £50.
I need to take the school holidays for 2 adults and 2 kids aged 15 and 12 so we can have a 14,15 or 16 day holiday flying on Weds 1st,Thurs 2nd or Fri 3rd of July but must return on Friday 17th Of July.
Good flight times also only..ie no 3am flights
Ideal would leave the UK at between 7am and 1pm returing to the uk airport at around 6pm
We will only have 2 bags with both being under 20kg
Try doing a google search for cheap flights to Tenerife,I just found some from Manchester for just over £200 each, you may have to compromise on your flight times,though.T.
Dont worry about the thread moving to flights. It is actually specifically about flight deals to Tenerife.
Are you sure that you have the correct dates,we live in Norfolk and schools here do not finish until around the middle of July.My son finishes on 17th July.
Our schools finish on fri 26th June
Maybe the kids in Scotland are a wee bit more clever and can afford to have more time off
Hi
When do they go back to school,or are they so clever that they don't need to
Back on topic, you will probably be able to get cheaper flights then, because the majority of schools have different dates,we start our 2 week family holiday on 19th August.I would prefer to go the same time as you and miss the rush.Hope you find flights to suit you.T.
