i would rather like to try the floyds restraunt, as it seems to come highly recommended!!!!!:tongue it seems it is opposite the elephant shop. nobody seems to be able to give me a definative answer as to where that is either.
please let me know if the question is too difficult, and i won't embarrass you all by asking it again
any positive input would be appreciated.thank you. BOB.

I intend to go to Floyds this time and I will get there by asking a taxi driver to take me Its on the main street in Candolim just across from the Magnum Hotel
Thats spot on jettii but Bob may want to get the bus . Go past the new Newtons supermarket in Candolim front street, and the Magnum is a few hundred yards on the left.
I think Floyds is where we went several times when visiting Ashoka (buying our rings) it is opposite the second Elephant shop (the one on the same side as Newtons just past Ashoka and Guru jewellers) we had Garlic King Fish once (Yum) and a fantastic butter chicken. It has fairy lights outside, looks not much from the outside, but the food is great, they also had someone singing one time we went
is it the "Elephant Shop" or the shop with the 2 Elephant statues outside
hi went to floyds to nite and the food was really good it is opposite the elephant shop in candolim just before the panjim road coming from newton way sue
would highly recommend the food and service (ask for Bappi) as we visit at least once every holiday and not far from the Magnum (hotel we use)
Ivan
Food is great but service was a problem on our first visit, they served tables that came in after us which annoyed me a little, however we went back a 2nd time with no problem
you should see Lez there he is in most days ..I will be on the look out for him when we get there ...colleen
Can confirm both the location and the quality of the food.Always busy.

Thanks again BOB
i think there are two floyds-one is called floyds hut.the one we have been to several times is on the opposite side to the stonehouse(i dont mean exactly opposite but the other side of the road!)the food was lovely and the service was outstanding by the waiter called Bappi, who remembered us from last year.you can see them making fresh nans inside and they are delicous,if you cant see what you want on the menu just describe it and they will try to get it right.
Isn't Floyds down the road on the left from the Elephant shop? (this is coming from Calangute direction) Go past the elephant shop, pass the stalls, (over the road is Casa seashell), go across the junction, pass the shop where the "elvis" mannequin is, keep going a few hundred yards and Floyds is on the left. (it might be a bit further, I'm not good with distances) If I have the right place, nice people who run it and good food and service. Have had some great nights there.
Bappi [unless there is another]works at Floyds Hut that is where you see them making the nan,s
and kebabs, been going there for years great staff and food

OMG even i'm confused now
Just to add a little more confusion that Bob has caused, there is also Floyd's Shack. This also is in Candolim, but I will not confuse the matter anymore , so I will not go on.
