Hi Lynn
The Fly Flot factory is in the town of Calvisano in the Province of Brescia.About 20 kms south of Desenzano.
I've never been so can't comment on factory shop prices but should be cheaper than Ideal World or http://www.shoeshop.com At least you save on P&P.

Yes I'm on Garda in June.Already got 15 pairs of Fly Flots.I love them so comfy.I'll have to talk his nibs into a visit to the factory.
Walked round Florence for 4 days last September great no problem.

Hi there!

I am glad to see that there are other Fly Flot addicts out there. Could any of you tell me where are the retail outlets for Fly Flots by or around Lake Garda as I am off on holiday there in October and have been told that the factory doesn't have a shop but that there are several outlets in the area. Any recommendations? I shall be taking a very large suitcase!

Many thanks.

Fly Flots are the most comfortable shoes ever made. Check them out on the net. They are much more comfortable than they look and so much so that I put all my other shoes in the recycle clothing banks. I have 14 pairs of Fly Flots of various designs and happy feet! :)

Thanks a lot Auldwife.

They certainly look good! Let's hope someone knows where to find them :hyper

I'll keep watching this space.

Whilst you ladies have been rambling on about shoes I've done the techy thing and found your site for you (quite easy with a bit a male thinking!!).

http://www.flyflot.it/index_en.asp

Hold the cursur of where it says sales point then select the bottom option for the full directory. Didn't see any mention of a factory shop.

Actually, I did the techy thing first but it was of no help at all as I have never been to Italy before and haven't a clue which of those outlets is near to where I am staying.

I went on to do the sensible thing and emailed directly to the company and was informed that there is no factory shop and tours of the factory are not allowed due to health and safety. (They get everywhere!).

I shall just have to wait until October and take the list of outlets with me and ask for the nearest one to the hotel when I am there. :sun2

If you go to the list of "List of Selling Points" and look on the Italian side it's broken down by provinces which are about as big as an English county. Lake Garda is split between three, west is Brescia (shops are listed in Salo, Gardone and Desenzano), east in Verona (one listed in Malcesine) and the northern tip is Trento (the one shown as via del Garda may be a typo for Riva del Garda as it has a Riva dialling code).

Now will someone tell me what an SP3 is - a shoe that pays music tracks perhaps???

Be warned girls, there are so many fabulous shoe and handbag shops around the lake you won't fit them all in. :( by the time it came to find the Fly Flot shops he was ready to kill me. :really Oh, and take plenty of money. :yikes
