Worth a visit. But not suitable for people with walking difficulties.Located north out of Benidorm( take the C70) through La Nucia and Callosa.A series of natural water falls and pools (some very deep) fed by cold mountain water. There are many car parks, but dont do as I do and choose the first you come to.There are a few more closer to the entrance to the Cascada.Entrance to Cascada is 3 for adults 1.50 for children.Apparently if you book a table at the restuarant at the entrance, entry is free.
Take shoes that you can wear in the water, its easier on the feet. http://www.spainvillarental.co.uk/fonts_d'algar.htm
Yes, take no notice of the lads who wave you into those first car parks as if it is something you HAVE to do They are just running their own little business. It is well worth a visit. Be prepared for a bit of a shock when you first jump in, you won't moan about the hotel pool being too cold again
The water is so cold, it takes your breath away. When I came out of the mountain cascade, the shock must have knocked years off me as a lady didnt believe that I was old enough to be a mother to my teenager who was standing next to me at the time. No mean feat as I am in my forties and look it.
