Hi, my wife and I travel to Germany these days at least once a year and we are going back again next month, last year I noticed in the fabulous Breweries and bars in Koln and Dusseldorf a very tasty looking little snack that was either raw minced beef and / or raw minced pork on a half roll with onions, it's menu name escapes me at present, I am not fussy about eating and there are only two things I can think of that I just can't eat, one is tripe and the other is eggs, I love squids, snails, octopus, sushi, I even scoff the eyes on cooked fish and have eaten raw sardines in vinegar in Greece so you see I can eat almost everything, but the question is how come these raw meat snacks in Germany are served in bars and why don't they poison anyone ?, bye the way I love traditional German food it is fantastic but this slight doubt has held me back from trying these rolls.
