Was anybody on flight ECA853 Manchester - Larnaca on 28th May 06 that was delayed for 40hrs?
If so, how are you getting on with your compensation claim?
Just received a letter from Olympic Holidays who basicaly say I'ts not their problem,
Eurocypria say they are looking into the matter and that it will take about 6 weeks to get back in touch.
Surely if you pay a tour company for a service and they fail to provide the service you paid for they must be liable for something.
During the whole 40hrs their was never an Olympic rep to be seen,we were never informed of our rights or informed of what we were entitled to.
And although we were put up in a hotel overnight we were treated like refugees who were not aloud food from the menu and had to eat our curry or chile or curry again far far away from the 'paying guests'.
And at £8.50 for a lager & a glass of wine (sorry no kids in the bar you will have to go to the entrance hall to drink it) you couldn't afford to drown your sorrows.
Does anybody have any idea what compensation we should be entitled to and from whom?
The delay was due to technical reasons on two planes.
