Back in Feb/Mar Monarch quoted me approx £1300 each for an eight week stay flying out 5th December 2007, needless to say we are going with Jet Airways, loads cheaper and staying for 10 weeks
For the 1st time in 5 years we are able to go longer than a month on charter. Think they are starting to "relax" on this subject 
The trouble is once you go over four weeks, the charter companies up the price for every week by quite a bit, and very quickly you are cheaper going schedule. It doesnt make sense to me, could anyone explain why they do it ? Alan
Thanks everyone for the feedback! Gramps - perhaps the reason for the high charges lie in the monopoly that they currently have direct to Goa!!
