Free ATM's in Puerto del Carmen

Hi One and All

Off to the sunny isle on Thursday armed with one of those debit cards that charge no commission etc and was wondering if there are any ATM's that won't charge me a withdrawal fee like some of the Link machines over here do, you know £1.75 for the privilege of taking your own money out!!

if you use the bank machines no problem the only time you should get a servos charge is if you use the card to make purchases

Thanks Wizard for the speedy response.

I just didn't want to be charged for using the foreign banks ATM's, otherwise I would have taken travellers cheques instead of opening aforementioned account.

I've never been charged by any ATMs in Lanzarote. I've never been charged for purchases either.

I am actually considering opening an account with Nationwide because of the whole free cash withdrawal abroad thing. How long did it take to open your account? Have you found any hidden conditions?
