while having a conversation with a friend the other day he asked me if my forthcoming holiday had gone up in price because of fuel charges i said no and didn't expect it to either.
he said i will proberly get a letter to increase the price.
can tour operators do this, has it happened to anyone.
my holiday is paid in full travel 7 weeks today hope it doesn't go up saving for spends now.
HERE Some airlines have been authorised to add additional charges.
If you have booked a package you will need to read the T&C's from your tour operator for your specific holiday.
** Edit - I have just checked the T&C's for my holiday with Direct Holidays. It clearly states that "the price of your Holiday may change after you have booked. However there will be no change within 30 days of your departure." and that "We will absorb and you will not be charged for any increase equivalent to 2% of the price of your Holiday"
This means that if the increase is over 2% you will have to pay it.
