Hi Jill. There are lots of Castle Beach write-ups in Hotel Reviews on this website - many of them complimentary. Castle Beach is at the very outskirts of Fuengirola, so you'll have to travel a bit to find any meaningful nightlife.
Weather? No guarantees in March, I'm afraid. We were out last month and it was excellent, but have gone in April and had it cold, wet and windy.
At least it should be a better than Britain. Don't go expecting a heatwave!

The Myramar Castle Beach apartments are a good base for your stay. The apartments are like a hotel really with lots to do in the evening but it is mainly a family orientated place.

If you are not driving then you might be better paying slightly more for a hotel which is right in the centre of all the pubs and such. Something like the El Puerto which is on the sea front could be good. If you are driving then no worries.

The apartments are about a good 20 minute walk away from town. They are next door to a great shopping centre though!!!!

Regarding the weather as stated no guarantees but it will definately be better than the UK!!
