hi would like some advice would like to book now for next xmas but a little confused on the weather
is it hot enough to sunbathe and go in the sea to swim? never had a winter sun holiday
also is it still quite lively in the resort?

Closest we have been is early Dec, it was ok for sunbathing but not hot. Bit like a nice late spring day here.
We have been to Grand Canaria late nov and it seemed much warmer, I think the wind in Fuete cools it down .
Resort was pretty dead, the two for one etc deals drew the punters together in the same bars same time of night. It was funny as people would drink up in one bar as there happy hour ended and the same old faces would turn up down the road as that bars offers started.
