How much did you pay for your furneture?

Hi Roda, We furnished our 2 bed 2 bath apartment with good quality furniture including all the beds, bed linen, curtains, pictures, kitchen utensils, garden table and 6 chairs, 2 sunbeds. All our furniture was from shops in Manacor in Mallorca and was of good quality. This was 4 years ago and it is all still in good order. Some of our friends who live on our complex bought from Ikea and are now regretting it as some of their beds and bed settees are broken beyond repair, so it is not always best to go for the cheapest. At the time we spent less than € 10,000 which we feel was great value for the goods that we bought. The delivery men even set up all the beds, placed the carpets and 3 piece suit and removed all the packing without any charge!!! Try that in the UK. The cost has gone up very little over the 4 years, but we did buy in the early year sales and was able to barter because we bought mostly from one shop. Hope this helps you in your decision.

Hi There,
There is a very good furniture shop called Muebles Direct which is situated on the Torre Pacheco Road, it is run by a lovely English couple called Fred & Diane they are extremely helpful. There is also a guy called Paul who fits your shower cubicles that are not generally include in you apartment. He is very knowledgable and is reasonably priced! he is called Casa Kitchens and Bathrooms and he advertises every week in the local english newspaper called the Reporter. Hope this will help you.
