I am going to the Gala in March and after reading the reviews on here I have contacted the hotel to ask for a good room position. The hotel want quite a bit extra for the pool views so it will be on the road side of the hotel and as there are 2 adults and 2 children in the room they have allocated us a bigger room which they say are all on the 2nd floor. Should be OK as we dont spend much time in the room anyway, but has anyone had any experience of the "bigger" rooms which are on the 2nd floor?

What a great choice of hotel, my favourite.

We stayed on the roadside, which i liked, we were on the 3rd floor room 323. We had a lovely room and a big balcony. We got the sun all day long.
Even though we were on the road we never heard any noise.

Some of the rooms overlooking the pool area don't get the sun all day long.

I will be in palm beach last 2 weeks in march and i can see the back of the gala from my room for the 1st week. Then i move to a room right on the front for the 2nd week.
