My friend went to the Gala Placidia last October and was told they were the last guests.She was informed it is being turned into apartments for sale.I dont know if it being totally rebuilt.This was the very first hotel we stayed at in Benidorm nearly 20 years ago.

Hi can any one tell me if this hotel is anywhere near the levante beach apartments?

Yes, they are pretty close. The hotel is on Avda de Roma, the apartments are on Avda de Estocolmo. We have not had any recent feedback about the Gala Placidia, and I see that it has now been removed from the Onasol Hotels Group website. But although previously mentioned that it was being sold off as apartments, I can see that rooms are still available through some hotel booking agencies.
