most of there flying is with Onur Air, but some flights are with Monarch.

they are using monarch and onour air this year they were using freebird as well but they have had a falling out i heard

I have booked a holiday with Goldtrail and we are also flying out from Gatwick with Onur Air. Has anybody flown out with Onur before? Do they sell all the normal English duty free such as Benson & Hedges, Whisky etc?
Are the prices cheaper than the duty free shop at Gatwick? Are there any restrictions on the quantities of cigs and booze sold on the plane?

yes they do sell duty free but dont skock much as this is always the return leg as onur is based in turkey
there is also no enterainment on board so take something to read on board goldtrail has alot of threads on ht but personally i have not had any probs with them but i use flight only

We have used goldtrail several times. They are a no frills airline. all their flights originate FROM Turkey. So you will find that most of the return flights leave Turkey at some ridiculous hour in the morning, which I suppose can be said about most flights from Turkey!
There is no inflight entertainment but saying that who really watches the films anyway. The food is of a reasonable standard and unlike most airlines now, the meal is included in the price. You get the choice of fruit juice, coke etc as well as the usual tea/coffee and there is no charge for this. We have never had any serious delays with Onur Air (the charter airline that Goldtrail use)
We have also used some of the "normal" charter flights, ie first choice, thomson etc but have had awful delays at times.

Just in case people who are booked do not know..........

Goldtrail have cancelled the first 3 flights from Liverpool to Dalaman May 2nd, 9th and 16th.

I couldn't get out of them why they cancelled but they have been full for weeks now so the offer from them is to fly from Manchester at 11 am same day.
