Normal dress code applies. You must also use soft spikes. Buggies are available but i cant rem price. DO NOT BOOK at the course. Use an agent, you can usually save a mint. There are lots on the internet, or you can go through an agent over there. We booked 3 rounds last year. Laguna, Millenium, and Morgado. Worked out around £30 a round. I recon we saved around 30% at least. Depends how much you want to pay of course. But Old Course in Vilamoura is excellent and so is Victoria. [Victoria is a championship course and normal price is 150 euros]

Have played in Algarve for a number of years and played most the courses and without doubt the best value for money is Quinta da Cima nr Tavira. May be a trip out but is superb. and yes book through an agent
Have played and enjoy Alto Golf, Palmares and Salgados - all three are good value and different types of course.
Buggies cost approx. 35 Euros.
