has anybody played in Goa? if yes, whats it like and where wasit?

I remember looking into this when we booked our first trip to Goa, as my boyfriend is a keen golfer, and I'm sure I read somewhere that a couple of the 5* hotels in the South have courses but he didn't try them.
Never played there but there is a 9 hole pitch and putt at the Taj in Sinquerim
My husband plays golf,the only course we have seen is the one at the
Taj in Benaulim (south goa) its a flat course and not challenging for a
good player,hope this helps,

The Ramada, Varca beach has a 9 hole so does the Leala Palace Mobor.

I'm going to goa next month and was wondering if anyone has played golf while they were there the last time i was leaving actually on the runway to come home and what did i see yes a golf course i don't know the name of the course but does anyone else know this would be gratefully appriciated any information would be so helpful!

Only golf course i know is a 9 hole at the taj exotica. Goas not really the place for golf. Not enough water.
merged with a previous thread with some info for bates. 
Intercontinental at Rajbaga beach (close to Palolem) has a course....think it costs 1200 for a round
