As a golfer myself it always surprises me that there are not more golf shops here. Do more people order their stuff over the internet nowadays?
All the courses have shops, but in the Villamartin area there is only one other outlet that I know. It is on the junction of the N332 and the road leading to Campoamor. There are no ‘Nevada Bob' type places, which either means that they are missing a great opportunity, or that they know the market cannot support them.
There are, of course, general sports shops which sell golf equipment; but the choice is very limited.
For myself, what I would find handy is a place that could handle re-gripping and repairs as well as offer equipment at internet competitive prices.
