We have been going to this site for many year,s and are going again this year and next,firstly with the kid,s and now the grandchildren.Most of the static caravan,s are privitley owned but the site still have some for hire.The camping facilities are very good and kept clean to a very high standard with tent and touring field,s.there are two swiming pool,s one for the adult,s and older kid,s and one for the todler,s,there are allway,s two life guard,s on duty at all time,s the pool,s are open.They have laundry facilities and a shop on site plus a fast food take away,these are ok but like most site,s can be exspensive. The club house is i think the only let down ,it is not big enough for the amount of people the site get,s in the six week,s holiday,it get,s packed and if you whant a seat get in very early.The entertainment is fantastic and is family run. Jhon the entertainment,s manager dose a fantastic job,a lot of the entertainment is centerd on the kid,s in the club house with guest entertainer,s later for the adult,s.The kid,s will love the camp mascot flopper my kid,s did and the grankid,s do and the site dose something every day for the kid,s and allso have there own stable,s for pony trecking.The fishing is very good with helpfull advice and resonabley priced equipment in the tackle shop,s in west Bay, a ten minute drive or a great walk over the cliff path.This is a great base to use if you like walking and the view,s are worth the efert The local pub in Burton Bradstock has a fantastic menu ,but the price,s spoil it, we think it is to exspensive. If you whant something special you can find a thatched pub five or ten minutes from the village the menu is Carabean and well worth a visit . enjoy the food and the exerlent company of the hippy behind the bar what a great caracter and his wife the chef. If i could remember the name of the village or the pub i would tell you promice,it has something to do with a monk.Bingo ive just found it Shave Cross Inn Marshwood Vale Dorset.
