Hi. I dont know what part of Greece you were wanting to go to but I must say Alikanas in Zante is lovely. Depending on the age of your children though as teenagers may find it a bit quiet. Having said that there are plenty of bars and tavernas and some have a play area for younger children. The beach is white sand and the sea shelves so gently you can walk out for ages and still only be up to your waist. Also good for snorkelling. We are off there on the 25th June. Cant wait and hope it hasnt changed since 2002 when we were last there. Whereever you decide to go I am sure you will love Greece. So have a good time.

You may also like to consider Corfu as we had a wonderful holiday there and there is a FANTASTIC Water Park where we all had such a good time we returned again the 2nd week. You may like to consider Gouvia or Ipsos. We stayed at Dassia which is quiet but I must add that we had our two nephews in tow aged 10 and 15 and they had a great time, they werent bored at all. There is also plenty of watersports on the beach.

They are family friendly wherever you go in Greece. It's a lovely country all round and is my family's favourite holiday destination. We've been to quite a few resorts and enjoyed everyone so it's hard to know where to start with recommendations. Corfu is mine and my husband's personal favourite - turquoise blue seas and outstanding greenery covered in Olive groves. The roads are quite winding though with some steep climbs around the mountains but all in all the resorts are flat.

Another favourite is Kos (Kos Town - lively, also Tingaki- more peaceful). We also enjoyed Zante, but I would say avoid Laganas in high season as it's a teenage drinker's paradise. we stayed in Argassi which was a great resort but the beach was a bit small.
