There is also JJ's more or less opposite Ruffles, I will need to look through some paper work for details, but the owner of Greenpeace is also part owner of JJ's so contact them and you should get good info.
Last season we paid 900rps per day for a decent room, clean but needed a slight upgrade on certain things which they are (should) have been on with when the season closed.
Tony the other owner, said he would do his very best to keep prices the same and throw in a breakfast with the cost.
We left it 'till February to make contact and book, as you tend to be able to haggle for a better price. No problems with rooms being vacent that time of year.
There is also the Horizon Hotel at the top of Whispering Palms road, not too far from Ruffles, they were charging (after negotiating) 1200rps per day.
Not stayed at Ruffles, but I know a few who enjoy it, the rooms to me though are a little small.
If you need more contact details let me know and I will have a look for you.

Very good with Aircon, TV, fridge freezer, cooking facilities and most unusual European Mattress.
On main road so can be a bit noisy, rooms at back are quieter.
Seabreeze are with same owner but quieter location.
Would recommend both.
Pretty Petals is very good and in a great location. Not always the cheapest but it's clean and well-equipped. It tends to book up but it's worth a look.
It is in Calangute in a quiet spot a short walk from Holiday street and just opposite Little Italy restaurant.
Not Candolim but a short ride into either Clangute or Candolim.
