The beginning of October is usually lovely, hot during the day, maybe a bit chilly in the evenings but not much chance of rain. I used to live in Gumbet and October was always really nice.

We flew out to Gumbet on 22 October last year for two weeks and the weather was lovely. tee-shirts and shorts all day. We never saw a drop of rain and hardly a cloud in the sky. It could get a bit chilly in the evenings but we never needed more than a cardigan. October's nice as it's quieter and more relaxed.
