I think that Gumusluk is pretty quiet all the year around, that's part of the appeal. It will be lovely in Sept, not unbearably hot.
You really should explore the lovely places close by, Bodrum, Turgutries etc. (Dont bother with Gumbet, Blackpool in the sun!). Enjoy yourselves.
Ps. Take your snorkle!
Hi does anyone know of an area called Gumusluk, it is about 23kl from Bodrum I believe Thanks
It is a very beautiful and relaxing place to stay, and of course Bodrum with its nightlife and buzzing atmosphere is only a short dolmus ride away. I think Bodrum too is a magical place.
I am sure if you visit Gumusluk you wont be dissapointed.

my wife and i bought an apartment just a 15 min walk from gumusluk and we love it, we have tried most of the restaraunts, but the one we mainly go in is called bati,s , as you enter village turn right and you will come to it, i like it as i am not a fish lover and they do a wide and varied menu and it is i would say cheap compared to some of the fish ones ay gumusluk . try to go by 7 pm as it is very popular and you may have to wait. but they have a waiting area by a fire with cushions to sit on till a table is free. on a historical note gumusluk is were the guys who killed caesar hid out after doing him in.. as i say we can walk to it from our place[ not at night ...turkish drivers]

Most places do a range of different sea food dished and sell them as a package, if you are wanting just seabass or bream try the restaurant just as you come off the dolmus it is at the top of the hill - you dont get the sea views but what you do get is your fish for about 10lira between 3 - 4 £ then after lunch make your way down to the beach and enjoy your sea views the couple who run the restaurant are really nice - we go there at least once when we visit, first time we went we got our fish at the front and paid over the odds, the next time we went we haggled and got a great discount, but still prefer the place at the top of the hill. Not been at night time but when coming back from other places always see the turkish tourist coming from Gumusluk.
