I would catch the ferry from Cancun to Isla Mujeres, rent a golf cart for half/full day(very cheap) and explore the island.
Ferry is cheap, theres not many cars, mainly other golf carts and u can drive around the whole island as it is really small.
There is a small turtle/farm hatchery there, Garrafon park ,some great places to eat drink and a small town area with some nice shops
We stopped near the lighthouse and were able to hand feed bananas to the iguanas.Theres also an amazing looking house thats shaped like a sea shell and its just nice to be able to be able to do as you please and stop wherever u want

Hi S

I have been to Cancun many times. It has such a diverse life you will astounded. Besides all the typical tourist sites....Xcaret, Chichinneetza, Tulum make sure you visit Isla Mujeres. The Isla has a beautiful North Beach, some very good restaurants and fab sights. Visit the grave of Mundaca.

If you hire a car and drive the motorway to Chicheneetza make sure you have enough for the toll. It's expensive. I find driving the old road much more interesting.

Have fun......I intend to. I am off on the 7th Sept to Isla again.
