Hi all,
I booked a cheapy to Sidari with lowcostholidays for June this year.
Unfortunately they can't give me the apartment I booked now so have offered an alternative.
Thing is I have now done the daft thing of relooked at other travel forum reviews and the comments such as 'Sidari should be bulldozed' or 'it is the place for you if you are 4 stone over weight, British and a chain smoker' have made me recoil a bit!!!!!
We are a couple in our 30s who like a bit of fun but aren't into pumping hectic places but do like a few beers and a bit of entertainment. Should I just bite the bullet and stay with Sidari or look at going elsewhere???
AArrgghh.....review sites are great......until they aren't!!!
some of our members obviously loved the place according to the members reviews, there are some negative ones but thats to be expected [you cant please everyone]

You will love Sadari, we went there with our two children (11,14) and there was plenty for us and them to do, the sea is actually WALM the only place we have been to where this was the case. I f you do find that Sadari is not to your taste, then it is oly a 10 minute walk to the Canal De Amor area where you will find a lot of restaurants which are mostly family run.

Lust to give you a bit of reassurance- no you have not made a mistake booking sidari.
I went for the first time last july- with family , (other half and son 15). We absolutely loved it. It was the best holiday ever- and would choose greece over spain any day. Loved it so much I went back in october- on a girly holiday- and are going back this July (15 of us).
My friend has been going every year- for the past 18 Years- and wouldnt go anywhere else!

You will enjoy Sidari, it has a lot of variety for all ages, this will be our 5th year in august, the strip is brillient, loads of bars, with entertainment everynight, loads of acts to see, quiet bars and nightclubs, you can have it quiet or loud as you like, we love it, my 8 year old loves it, the restaurants are brillient, try 3 Little Pigs, Demetrios, Sea Breeze, Paradise, Memories, Roof Top, loads more, greek dancing is superb in 3 Little Pigs, there is something for everyone in Sidari, its a top place and roll on August!
