Hi Karen,

Unless they renamed it again recently, the name changed from 'Hells Kitchen' to 'Clinton' a long time ago........for obvious reasons!

It used to be a very rough area but I walked through it a few years back when I was in New York and to be honest it didn't seem that bad. That was about 4 years ago so not sure of the situation now. Will probably be a little bit out the way though?

I'm not sure if I'm confused...I thought it was still known as Hell's Kitchen and is it not sort of west in the midtown area? I thought that was quite central?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm sure it was near where I stayed last time (Washington Jefferson hotel).
