I have read the reviews of the 2 choices of accomodation, however I am looking for feedback for the other questions I have posted.

Hi, we went to Menorca for the first time this year, like you we usually go to the canaries.

We stayed in Calan Bosch which was great, very family orientated.

We found eating out and food in the supermarkets to be only marginally more expensive than Gran Canaria.

We had a budget of £100 per day for two adults and 1 child and found this to be more than we actually needed some days.

However, we didn't hire a car or go on any organised trips. We did go to the waterpark a couple of times (only a 10 minute walk away) and ate out every evening having breakfast in the apartment. Public transport service is good and cheap.

Didn't visit Calan Forcat but everywhere on Menorca seems to be lovely!

The current taxi fare from Mahon airport to Cala'n Forcat is €48 so double that for a return trip.
