hello everyone

guess what - I have finally booked another holiday today after 3 days of sheer hard work, as Candolim is fully booked for the original dates we had. We are now going nearly 3 weeks later but it doesn't matter just as long as we get there.

Have found a little gem by trawling through the internet - its a guest house in Candolim called Sanfrancisco Holiday Homes and its opposite Ruffles behind JJ's, so it is very central for us, and have got scheduled flights with Kingfisher going from Heathrow via Bangalore on way out and via Mumbai on way back. The guest house was fully booked until 29th january so we are flying out on 28th jan as its overnight - but we still have 3 weeks there as original holiday was.

Thankyou everyone for all your help, co-operation, advice, kindness, and pm's - I could not have done this without you all being there for me as I would have given up

And a very special thankyou to Fiona, our mod, who has been extremely efficient and helpful throughout

Many thanks to everyone for helping me and looking up holidays and websites on my behalf, its so reassuring to know that when everything is going wrong I have my HT friends to cheer me up.

We are so looking forward to this holiday, got emails confirming our accommodation and booked our taxi driver to pick us up at the airport, just waiting for an email with our e-tickets now - which I might get tomorrow
