Hi, flying out to Belamadena on Sunday for a week, have been checking the weather and it says 15 and sunny but what i really need to know is what to take. is it warm enough for shorts and tshirts during the day i know its colder at night but dont want to pack anything i dont need. any help will be appreciated, also can anyone tell me if its busy and what pubs to go to that are a bit lively.
Cheers,
Fiona
Hi there, I dont think you need to fill your case with shorts and t shirts. Perhaps one or two will suffice as it really is not that warm. You may be better packing t shirts and casual trousers for the day time. As soon as the sun goes down it is really chilly. Today is really cold, people walking around in winter coats, gloves etc. but last week was lovely and looking at the forecast for next week, it should be quite sunny.
I'm going to Torremolinos on Monday (did the same week last year), but the forecast doesn't look as good. Last year I wore shorts during the day, but it did get cold late afternoon/evening. Just hoping for a few good days later in the week as it looks as tho' it could rain for the first few.
thanks for your help, will take out the bikini! hopefully will be warm enough for tshirts during the day if not suppose it will be the pub. robby have a great holiday and pray for some sun.
I am down in Gibraltar at the moment. Its plus 15 - bit of a wind and raining!! Sorry!
Hi, got back on Sunday - 2 weeks staying in Fuengirola. Was on the beach in Marbella most days from 12-5, in shorts and vest tops but my wee one was right in the water! The Spaniards, in their coats and hats, looked at us as if we were crazy! The evenings were really quite chilly and I wore trousers and a jacket. We had 10 good days out of 14 so that wasn't too bad. Have a great holiday.
Also just back on Sunday after a week at Mijas Pueblo. Like Fiona, on the beach most days, and delighted that the weather proved a repeat of 2004 and 2005. Only miserable day was Friday, when Gibraltar was being deluged. A day earlier, we had sat out on a sundeck at Cabopino, and watched the thermometer (direct sunlight and out the wind) surge to a very agreeable 35C!
thanks again for your replies, hope our weather is as good as what you had if it is i'll be very happy, put shorts back in case again.
it is still warm in the days when raining somedays, take a brolly with you so you don,t need a big coat,i took a shower coat, them thin ones kept chill out also.when sun is out it is warm.enjoy yourself
Tony, we had our warmest, most glorious day on the Thursday then went to Three Kings parade at night and got chatting to a young Scottish girl who has lived there for 12 years. She said the Spaniards were hoping for rain - and it poured ALL day on the Friday!!
Long range forecast says it will rain until at least Thursday, lets hope they are wrong. Looks like rain now though, mountains have just disappeared, it was blue and sunny this morning but the wind is cold.
We fly out on Sat 21st for a short break what will the weather be like over weekend?
Any help would be great also we staying at the Natali Hotel any info on it please thanks
