From what you describe Club Alize would be a good location for you. Large pool with plenty of day time activities. The pool also has slides. You are also right next door to the newish waterpark in Marmaris. You are about a 10 min walk to the beach although it's not the best. It does however have plenty of watersports. There is a full animation show at night in Alize with it's own restaurant. I would say that you would have somewhere in the region of 50 different restaurants within a five minute walk too. Do a search for Alize on this site, it gets a good reputation.

thankyou for that its a great help.i always book a couple of weeks before we go and get good prices but now my eldest is 13 i keep thinking is there going to be enough for him to do .we are past all the kids club age now but we do love the beach for snorkelling.totally stuck between greek islands or turkey again.club alize does tick all the boxes though .could you do any snorkelling off this beach or is it the main beach in marmaris so will be packed

can you tell me what the beach is like is it the main marmaris beach and could you do any snorkelling thanks

To be honest the beach in mamaris isn't the best, the water is clear once you get in it but the sand (what there is of it ) can hurt your feet.
I can't say i have seen anyone snorkelling but i must admit i havn't looked, perhaps they do it on one of the many boat trips that are available.
I also think the beaches are better in ichmeler and Turunc, they can be easily reached by water taxis.
