Hi, can anyone help!!!! Me and my best friend (both girls aged 21) are looking to go to egypt in June/July 2007.
We know it isnt clubbing and that lively but were looking for somewhere with a VERY nice hotel, clean, massive pool, close to the beach, some evening entertainment and a few bars in the hotel for us to choose from, we have a budget of about £600-£700 and would really like all Inclusive.
If any one can help us decide where to go that would be great we do have a few hotels in mind but reccommendations would be great to.
Many Thanks
Hi there , it might be an idea to look on the hotel reviews as you would get a broader view of all the hotels
have a look at the coral sea resort i think it will be what your looking for
I think, if you look at the "when are you coming" thread, they have already booked the LTI Grand Azure for next year.
Both the LTI Grand Azur, and the coral sea, are good choices. However, if I were you I would go for a hotel closer to Naama Bay, so you also have the choice to go out in Naama Bay where there are a few clubs and lots of bars, Hard Rock, Pacha to name a few. The Sonesta hotels are nice, although not as big, they have access to a nice beach with easy access to the sea (no mile long jettys!!). Or the Hilton ,although im not sure about prices on that one. Iberotel Lido is also very nice and good location. Hope that helps a little bit!
I agree totally with Sazzle.... the Lido is a good choice - the pool is just bigger than a bird bath but you have the sea literally right in front of your room... superb views, practically unbeatable, and close to the action in Naama Bay without being right in the middle of it. With all due respect, you ll have much more choice and variety at the Lido or any of the other hotels in the area ( Fayrouz Hilton, Movenpick, Novotel etc ) without breaking your budget, as with all inclusive resorts out of town you will be limited by what is available there.
I wouldnt say that Sharm is for two young girls who want to go clubbing if they are staying outside Naama... it would be far too boring as all hotels are resort based and would need taxi's back from Naama in the evening which could be dodgy?? I agree though that something much closer to Naama would be fine!
Book it through Thompsons if you decide purely because you will get the bigger rooms, they are massive with your own private garden. Other tour operators only give small rooms, equally nice, but i love big rooms.
We have been in May and June/july, very hot but fabuous
Very friendly and has its own bank and doctor.
hi, were going to the LTI Grand Azure, two 21 year olds, looking for a relaxing holiday no clubbing happy to sit around in the hotel bars in the evening, whats the LTI like? really looking forward to it.
We are looking for somewhere all inclusive, but has some good entertainment in the evenings at the hotel.
We want a relaxing one, although do want go see some of the sites, such as pyramids, sphinx etc.
any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
Be great for some help, because from most of the posts i have read the entertainment at the all inclusive hotels in Sharm ar pretty poor!
At the sonesta beach they have entertainment on all the time in the evening. From singers to dancing etc. I have heard it when passing through, it sounded nice and it was always packed. But i havent stayed myself because we didnt eat in the hotel at night, but walked into the sharm centre.
