Hello
can anyone help We were wondering if we are allowed to take food into spain with us from the uk I know at one time it wasnt allowed, but does anyone know if this is still the case.
Obviously not loads of stuff because i know we can buy things there but just a few things untill we get sorted out and settled in.
thanks for any help.
I have always brought food stuff into spain. Things like coffee, tea, sugar, soups, sausages and rashers and the like. I have never had a problem. we would usually carry it on as hand luggage in a cooler type bag.
I even know of someone once who froze meat ( steak, mince etc) and brought it into spain.
Hope this helps
Coffee (nescafe) and meat are cheaper in spain.
