Hi, hope you can help

This is my first message so please be patient with me!

There are 4 of us, all in our 40's looking for an all inclusive which provides quality evening entertainment such as professional shows/cabaret/comedians. Whilst we have no objection to a mini kids club/disco etc early on we want to find somewhere that also offers adults good entertainment for our age group. We went to Cyprus last December but found that the entertainment there was focused more towards the older guests - ie Ballroom dancing and singers.

We are looking to travel either December this year or February next year on a maximum 5hr flight

As someone who has danced ballroom since my teens I never realised that by defintion that made me an 'older' hotel guest :-) And I don't think anybody has told the students at the University where I work about this either - the Ballroom Dancing one is the fastest growing student societies of recent years! And there is now a University 'Big Band' formed of staff and students that meets weekly to practice and regularly does charity dinner (ballroom) dances that are sell-outs Ever since 'Strictly Come Dancing' Ballroom dancing schools have been snowed under with new people wanting to learn to proper couple dancing. At the last ballroom event I went to, probably half those there strutting their stuff to the local big band were under 40.

Seriously though, you might get a better response to your query if you start a new topic. The current heading means that after Wednesday has come and gone, few people will bother opening this thread assuming that it's past its 'sell-by-date'.
