planning a 2 week holiday to hisaronu this summer, been looking at a few hotels cant make my mind up which hotel to book.it is just myself and husband so looking for a hotel not to far from the town centre where all the action is.have been looking at the following hotels
hotel desten hisar holiday club
ciftlik hotel carmina hotel
does anybody have any information including location about these hotels,or can anyone recomend any other good hotels, also any info on what there is to do in hisaronu including any good bars places to eat etc thanks.
We stayed at St Nicholas Park Hotel, have a look at the Hotel Reviews, there are plenty of them. When we were there it was Bed & Breakfast and it was excellent, it was also the venue for the weekly Turkish Night. Beautifully located with views across the valley to a mountain and look another way and you look out over Olu Deniz Bay.

Me myself would not go there again.
try st nicholas gardens or destina or pine hills these are all located near the centre or try going s/c all the above hotels have been good in the past and have reviews on h/t
do you have any idea where the ciftlik hotel is,manos holidays say that it is in a quiet location 400m fromthe centre of hisaronu.
yes the ciflik hotel is at the end of the village on the kaya road 10mins from the post office
if you go onto my web page and go to links general under hisaronu online has links to ciflik
Take a look at their website http://www.yalcinhotel.com they have a web page full of photos dedicated to their guests !! Im on there! They really do value their customers, which is why so many return year after year.
yes susien the yelsin is a great hotel i think they are either related or the are owners of both hotels not sure
thanks maverick sounds as if the ciftlik is it not to far to walk into centre of town, where all the action is, it looks a nice hotel basic but it is only somewere to put your head down at night.i think i will go ahead and book it thanks for your help.
no problem alison55 if i can help further please contact me
hi maverick thanks for your help,i have 1 more question for you,how long would it take to walk from the ciftlik hotel to the centre of hisaronu and is the road well lit at night.sorry that was 2 questions thanks again.
and yes the main drag is lite well enough to walk and people are milling around till the early hours anyway
has anyone stayed in the hisar holiday club,is it more for families or couples?
The Butterfly restaurant is superb and very reasonably priced, it's on the main street but is on the second floor (which gives great views) so you'll have to look up to find it! The Festival is very good, mainly Turkish dishes but British owned so they can tell you about the food. The Olive Tree is also excellent.
hi i just booked my family into the ciftik hotel booked it direct at a fantastic price of £190 fo b and b for 2 weeks.thats for the 2 of them with a/c
hi nuttynet thats a good price when are you going to the ciftlik,is it £190 for room for 2 people for 2 weeks? it looks a good hotel im thinking of booking it myself for 2 weeks in august 08.who did you book your flights with, and where are you flying from.
hi booked the hotel direct off there web site after sending taz an e mail and flights from cardiff booked throught aegean 15/7/2008 yes that is for 2 people for 2 weeks
really you should be thinking of next year and book your august flights for 2009 it will cost approx 70 gbp return like it did this year ok maybe you w3ill have a few flight changes but you will save a small fortune
left it to late this year and the flights out of glasgow were not that cheap.never been to turkey before hopefully will have a good holiday and go next year, and book cheap flights as soon as we get home
