Ive just heard from our travel agent Barrhead Travel in Glasgow that the company They booked our hols through have now ceased trading! We only booked this last week & paid cash to Barrhaed travel & not Scot Travel the company who've ceased trading . Barrhead travel are telling us it'll take months to get our money back but if we still want to travel on sunday we need to pay for the holiday again, surely it should be barrhead travel it should be paying the holiday as we booke with them.
Any advice would be great , we are trying to get in touch with the helpline they gave us.....waitin on answer!!
I would put this on the holiday complaints forum. You would get a quicker answer. Good luck Marg

It doesn't look good for any hope of travel, it's a real shame the holiday wasn't paid for via credit card. I'm sorry that this has happened to you and other customers.
i have replied in the complaints thread and will lock this one to avoid further duplications
