you should be able to start the policy for both of them on the day your grandaughter flies out and then end the policy when the last person of the two arrives home!
you should have insurance in place BEFORE you book the holidays, if you start the insurance say 2 monthe after bookin just prior to departure then you have no insurance cover if anything goes wrong and you need to cancell
You could try calling your own insurance and asking if you can add your granddaughter to it.
Yes you should be able to add your grandaughter to yours as she is a member of your family . normally children are free .
Hi the Post Office Travel Insurance are quite good, a child travelling for 2 weeks is around £12.50, and double for your Daughter, hope this helps, an adult does not have to be Travelling with them on this policy.
Thanks for all your replies, we already had our insurance in place before we actually booked the holiday (annual multi trip) but we have decided to take our granddaughter along with us and hence the question I asked. Anyway I have decided to go with the Post Office, so thanks for that suggestion.
