hi.My parents have just come back from Ikaria and say they think Mykonos and Andros are near,maybe 1hour ferry ride away.Hope this helps.

Mykonos is approx 50 mins by car ferry, Syros close to 1.5 hours and Andros is about 2 hours sailing time.

When you arrive at the port in Tinos you will see the Monastery of Panaghia Evanghelistria at the highest point of the town. It took us about 20 minutes to walk there from the harbour, at a gentle stroll.

Be aware that it is a bit of a climb and it might be a struggle if it is very hot. On the day we visited we were priviliged to see pilgrims crawling on their hands and knees up the long street to this sacred place. It was very humbling.

There is a small museum on the avenue up to the monastery which is ineresting.
