You can email hotel 2 weeks before regarding rooms etc. Can't help you with the drink situation as i didn't have it.

Hi yes the vodka is bad even with coke !! i tried it a couple of times but could not stand it !! so was drink free ! i am going in September again so i will be taking duty free with me as you can not buy it when you get there

Might sound like a daft question , but.....is the adult bar strictly kaept adults only? And if so what do they class as adults , we have to 16 year olds would they be allowed in ?

dont think so x i think it is over 18 but its nice and relaxed xi might be wrong because my kids were in the clubs when we went to the adult bar you can ask when you e-mail them x

Was reading on TA the other day that it is not unknown for people who like decent drink and drink vodka or bacardi to wander about with a small water bottle with it in. not something I would do as I am not too fussed on drinking, so can manage without for a week or two, but I can see the attraction for people whom having a drink is part of their holiday.

Only put this up really to show that the drink must be ropey for people to go to those lenghts. Think they were taking their 'water' to Namma Bay with them as well, due to the fact that a vodka and lemonade was now six quid a pop.

The mini disco etc is all outdoor in the amphitheatre we found it very uncomfortable we tried to stretch out the evening meal for something to do as once we had, had that found that our children wanted to go back to the room to be cooler. We have been to Egypt a few times in August it is very hot we have always had indoor air conditioned entertainment which was lovely the HV was the first time we have had entertainment outdoor. In August it's roughly 30-35 degrees at night.
ps there was kids clubs at night which were in an air conditioned room our children only wanted to go twice out of a fortnight but when they did we took the opportunity to go to the adult bar which was very nice.

oooohhhh am very close to booking now.... but i dont like it to hot i sweat like a pig but cannot think of anywhere else.... been with first choice last 3 years and my kids love kids clubs and mini disco so we dont leave hotel much as kids want to do pool all day and kids club and disco at night

damn prices gone up twice in two days

Well folks i hope this place is good we've just booked for 27th dec for 2 weeks for 2 families hope its hot hot hot as we usually go to Goa but it was too expensive to fly there this year also never been all inclusive before is the food good

Hi ,we were at the resort last year and going back again this year its fantastic so dont worry about it I thought the food was really good there seemed to be something for everyone they also done theme nights and if u did not like the food on offer there were always thing like pizza ,chips salads plenty to choose from !! anyway i always think when you dont have to cook it yourself anything great !! xx

We went last year and they had a few coat hangers attached to the rails in the walk in wardrobes,however i would say take a few of your own especially if there are a few of you sharing a room.

We cant wait until we go on the 29th November its just a shame it so far away
we went 1st December 08 and after reading the reviews on this site and a few others i will say i nearly canceled it twice
and i am very glad i didn't as have no problems at all
i think if your read the reviews and you have never been away like us last year you get a bit scared
Everyone has there opinion and that's fine but to get a few things said
i never had to worry about my children 12 and 10 anytime on the holiday ok for the first few days yes i was worried but my kids told me mum all is ok go and chill
but all is fine it all around the kids
i never got ill and believe me if is going to happen to some one it will be be i brought a small chemist with me and didn't need anything lol
the food is fine hubby had eggs every day so did the kids
had ice a few time just because i forgot ( because of what the reviews said )
yes its a bit daunting when you leave the hotel but the word LA means No thank you is fine they smile and leave you alone

if you stay to the may strip and only go down the ally shops one or two in your fine
see were there income there are a few that will say come come again LA

out the hotel turn left walk about 5 Min's down the road and on the right there is a place called the jasmine center
go in up stairs there is a bar called st Georges bar ask for Pete ( English man ) he will look after you we went Quad biking £40 English for 4 with quads and Pete or one of his children in there 20's go's with you
we loved it watched the sun rise in the dessert fantastic if you want there email address i will give it to you

Well, I am excited now, less than 3 weeks to go, travel agent have rung so we are going to pick our tickets up later today. Also emailed Ramy & he has confirmed the room we asked for, he will also be emptying the fridge & filling it with water. We have some egyptian money, car park booked so, apart from packing we are set to go!!

We have also booked into the travel lodge for the night before - anything I have forgotten anyone??

I bet the next couple of weeks drag
