Well I loved my Saress last year and have bought another one for this year !!
The ITSA was great as well - nobody tried untying it to get at my sunbed and it was so bright that I could even venture to the pool without the prescription goggles and find my way back without alighting on some unsuspecting family (done that too many times) Lally
Loved this topic last year, really made me laugh.
Reading it again prompted me to try on my holiday clothes which only come out when I go on holiday.
Guess what.....they are too big for me, I am a bit miffed as I got a few bargain buys last summer ready for this years holiday. What a shame I will have to go out and buy all new.

only wished i had the same problem my oufits get bigger each year
Personally, I'd be delighted if last year's clothes were too big for me...margaretcarroll wrote:Guess what.....they are too big for me, I am a bit miffed
Ah well, the quest for chic continues. New Kays catalogue arrived today, so I'll see if anything takes my fancy in there.
Well this year we are doing Italy so I doubt my Ice Hockey and other US sport related clothing will work quite as well. However I was given a very nice Chicago Blackhawks leather jacket as a gift when I was in Chicago in the fall. It is scarlet and black and looks really good when I'm cruising with the top down in the car. So if you see a black Renault convertible travelling across Europe this Summer and the driver is wearing a large bright red jacket with a big Red Indian emblem on it (and possible wearing a blue cap) then it may be me!
Pl..ease, the cap will have to be red or black, not blue.
chicken fillets in me bikini will have to do
Just be warned, Juby, that they float! I'm a little, shall we say, lopsided and whilst it's not that noticeable under clothes it was a bit obvious in the expensive 'cupsized' swimsuit I treated myself to a couple of years ago. No problem I thought, just slip the 'chicken fillet' in to fill in the extra space on that side. After all, it works fine when I'm wearing fitted or plunge necklines. But as I discovered this is not such a good idea when submersing yourself in the sea! Thankfully my niece spotted that it had floated round to the top of the cup and was about to pop out and float away of its own accord before it actually did so! It greatly undermines the Eurochic image if you have to chase after and retrieve the 'cleavage'

Trouble is my red cap has been autographed on the peak by Bobby Hull and so no longer gets worn. I shall have to buy a new cap and wear it in as it takes a long time for a cap to become 'lived in'. The cap is a necessity however otherwise prolonged driving with the top down results in sunburn on the top of the head!
I'm off to Egypt next week, to an AI where the towels are provided, so hoping my ITSA will stand out.
Looking forward to blethering with you all again.

One of my many embarrassing moments was due to something floating in the water.
Being a woman of a certain age I wear "panty liners" not quite at the Tena lady stage yet but getting there.
Anyway I always use one, but remove it before I go in swimming. One day though I was walking past a waiter who thought it would be funny to push me in the pool.
Unfortunately I hit the water at a very strange angle the panty liner shot out of my bikini bottoms and landed on my head when I resurfaced. I was mortified.
Euro Chic I think not
Never EVER go down a water slide whilst wearing a tampon, especially if its a high fast slide. The pressure of the water creates a suction and sucks said tampon out.
Thankfully I had on tightish bikini bottoms!
Wonder if the same thing would happen with a mooncup Now there's an issue for some of you to Google.
I cannot stop laughing at the picture of you two. How mortifying
Large sunglasses and floppy hats. Look great on everyone else. Make me look like I'm in fancy dress.
