I visit the Amsterdam and Benidorm forums from time to time, only ever posted in the Benidorm forum other than here. I would say a fair amount of people on HT will have visited at least one or the other but the Goa forum stands out as font of knowledge shared amongst some lovely people who love Goa more than any place in the world. To me Spain is Spain and no matter how you try to big it up it just doesn`t have the same attraction to me, btw I love Spain and my Mum lives out there so don`t crucify me please :?

I read the goa forum every day. It's such a friendly site and the information and tips you can pick up is great. I just love goa.

I have visited a few other forums and in the most part HT members are decent people, I'm in and out of this forum all day long, just in case I miss something.

The Goa forum is just that much more special, the help from members, chatting with pm, making friend with people you have never met, arranging meetings 5000 miles away months ahead.

Ive been in several of the others forums and put postings in them as well when I am looking for travel advise/booking holidays.

Ive been in the Far East, Egypt, Caribbean, Costa Del sol, Costa Blanca and most of the Greek forums. Theyre all great. But Goa is the best one, such a friendly bunch :D

Every time I log in I quickly visit quite a few of the forums just to see if there are any new postings that interest me - I save Goa until last cause it is the best :wow

I use the Goa and Far East forums. I have posted on teh Crete forum, but the Goa one is by far the busiest I have found

I browse the forums that will give me info for my next port of call and will also add my report and give info that I find useful to others, the response however is very poor compared to this one. Is this the most active forum ?
As for meeting people in Goa from this site and doing favours for each other (BIG THANKS GEMMA 33 !!!!) it's amazing how much you can trust someone.
Two problems though... the wife saying ''have you got nothing better to do'' - NO !!
The other is the logging in every time

I have been a member (inc the old forum) since Aug 2002.

Started with the Turkey forum intending to book a DIY holiday for 2003. Found out is was so cheap doing it this way - all down to the Forum members - so duly booked a 2 wk holiday. Ended up buying a villa - that's another story.

Then last year started to look at the American forum and Far East forum but mainly this the Goa forum. Due to members on here we had a fantastic holiday this year in Goa and met a wonderful couple in Alan and Anne (AL38) from the forum.

All of the forums that I have browsed through are great - but this one takes some beating. Oh! and I've been looking at the Egypt forum and coincidentally booked our hols for luxor in Aug. 2007.

Without HT's forums the research that i have been able to do and get my holidays organised would not have been possible. All in all HT's is BRILL.......well done Fiona and all you other Mod's......you have made a lot of people and families very happy!!

Browse the other forums you won't be disappointed.
