Slipped up with this one meself - thinking I could get it at the airport on the way home - no chance !
I came rattling through customs with 6 bottles "Hic" all gone now, Friends loved it. But don't drink tooooomuch I got really sick on it once.
I've still got a couple of bottles left. Maybe I'll auction them off!!!!!!
Thanks for the replies. Looks like I'll have to wait till December. At least I can still have an icecold Kingfisher from Asda!!!!
they went in the suitcase and were fine when we got home and we will do the same next year, we couldnt find any in the plastic bottles this time they were all glass
We've got two bottles left, one of which is the apple honeybee
Lucky we still have some left. Can I make a suggestion though if you like HoneyBee how about trying Metaxa greek brandy we stock up in the Summer when we are in Greece and then get the Honey Bee in Winter. Sometimes run out of both and Metaxa can be get in the UK nice sweet taste as well!
can,t remember seeing it,we normaly get it in candolim
but will have to pack it in our cases with the new regs,
unless we get it airside
thanks
Didn't notice any yesterday.
Never seen any local spirits in duty free, looks like you will have to buy in Candolim and pack well in suitcase
No they don't sell it in the duty free, I asked last time I was there.
thanks for all reply,s shall pack it well in suitcase and
Roll it in a towel and pack it in middle of suitcase, never had any breakages yet.
chilly
If you shop around, some stores sell it in plastic bottles.
thanks roma
Definitely no Honeybee at Diabolical airport, I had a look for it last week. As someone else says no local spirits available in the airport, just the normal brand names.
If anyones been this season and have seen any spritits in plastic bottles could they let me know
Thanks
Nicola
This is not only to prevent breakages on the way back but plastic weighs less than glass so we don't have the worry about the excess baggage on the way back.
That's our excuse anyway.
