hi everyone we have just returned from our first season in goa we started off in cavelossim on the 17th dec and spent a couple of months in a lovely apartment above a local families house , actually it was just outside cavelosim in a village called carmona visitors to the south will probably know this village as you go through it on the bus to margao.
after a while we decided we were a bit far from the beach and decided to move into the centre of cavelosim so we booked a goods carrier , because by this time we had bought a washing machine and a set of bamboo furniture for the balcony , if you have ever watched the beverly hillbillys then that was us , we trusted the local lads to load the goods carrier and followed in a taxi , watching our cushions etc. slide slowly off the back of the goods carrier , our taxi driver pipped his horn repeatedly to get the goods carrier to stop but obviously he ignored it as everyone pips all the time so we drove on with fingers crossed hoping everything would stay put till we arrived , it just about did .
our family came to visit us in april and we all decided to spend a couple of nights at agonda beach in the coco huts its just down the coast from palolim and someone recommended it as its quieter , it was wonderful soo laid back ( i will try to post some pics ) anyway we decided another move was in order so we are now based in agonda ready for next season if anyone knows the place we are right opposite st. anns church in a flat across the road from the beach . appologies to arltagoa missed you at the meet ups had delly belly hope your holiday was great we had a really great time we took the train down from bombay to goa we were so glad we took the advice of everyone on the forum and went for it , we will give you details of thr train journey and pics in a day or two very tired today speak to you all soon anita and john
