Dont worry about your e mail. The Bali do try their best to accomodate as many requests as possible. Friends of ours e mailed the hotel 2 weeks before they left and they got the room they wanted. HTH
Hello Tony welcome back, long time no see on this site
Got a good price for half board in January (£414 for 2 adults and 1 infant) what i was wondering was, is Benelmadena like for infants (14 months)
Yes the Bali is on a hill but you do get used to it.
At the bottom of the hill is the main road - cross over to get access down to the promenade. You will need to walk along the main road to the right or left to access a slope as there are laods of steps directly down from the Bali. You can walk for miles if you like walking. Safe for little ones as no traffic.
We love Benalmadena- lovely marina 15 min walk and an even better park . Huge -Your little one will love this - cats, chickens, rabbits and more wandering around freely. Ducks and terrapins in a large lake - all fenced off. Also swings and slides.
The Bali has a slide and a climbing frame for little ones.
Feel free to ask any questions and I'll try to answer them.
Have a lovely holiday.
A far better hotel is the Siroco, one street along and the hill not as steep.
Don`t know if you`ve booked a package or not but you can book the Siroco at http://www.besthotels.es
IMO Benalmadena is about the best resort on the Costa del Sol.
I like the Bali hotel, and it's in an ideal position for the square but I am not sure if the square will be open in winter?
I stayed in the San Fermin just above the Bali. I am in my sixties and the hill was not a problem
Lots of bars in bonanza Square do close in winter but think that bonanza bar and the Elephante will be open
Does anyone know how much breakfast only, and evening meal only is at the Bali now for non residents?
Why don't you email them at the above link and ask for a price. Hope this helps.
Have e-mailed them jade .But as yet they have not replied.
I am going to the Bali Hotel in Benalmadena soon and I am looking at maybe getting the train from Malaga airport to Benalmadena as it seems a lot cheaper then getting a taxi from the airport, i was wondering how close the railway station is the the hotel, I assume I would need a taxi from the train station?
If you only have hand luggage and are reasonably fit then you could walk it in about 15 minutes, otherwise it's a taxi or an L1 bus. However, the L1 bus option involves a climb up a fairly steep hill (Cardiac Hill) from the N340.
Hi Tracey. The good news about taking a taxi from Benalmadena/Arroyo station (one and the same) to the Bali is that you would only pay the minimum taxi fare of five euros. Some taxi drivers charge a euro extra per case that goes in the boot, but I think that depends on what kind of mood they are in!
Hi Tracey, why not use Resorthoppa? A shared transfer from the airport to the hotel and back is only £20.00 .
it is 10 min walk and is all downhill. Cab is 5 euro
Thanks that really helful one last question how much is the train fair for 2 adults
I was on the train from the airport a few weeks ago, and paid either 1.35e or 1.85e single to Benalmadena. I'm sure others will confirm one way or another.
Be sure to get your ticket from the machine as you can be charged up to 10 times the fare by the conductor. It happened to me.
