Thanks djwoody for that, i didnt want to book it, get there and find out there is steps everywere and most of the hotel wasn't accessable

The Bali is very accesable. There are small ramps in the main corridors that the maids use for pulling their linnen trolleys along. There are also lifts to the dinning room and you will have no problems with receiption and the bar area.

Thanks Tony001 for that, the more info i get the better i will feel and be less worried

Any info you want, ask away. We are going for our 7th stay in the Bali this year. :)

Also another point is that the rooms overlooking the lower pool are closer to the reception floor than you may think. IE, floor no-2 is actually the ground floor for reception! Floor no 4 is only 2 away from reception and so on!
In all honesty though I think the hill would be a killer for anyone with walking disabilities! It isn't long but it's very steep!

yes i would say the hill must be a killer for them..hire a moterwheelchair out.i see many in hotel lined up and parked inside hotel.unless your with someone who is geoff capes... remind me of hells grandies tearing down the road at full speed.

thanks for all you help/replys, i do hire a scooter (works out about a tenner a day, cheaper than getting taxi's everywere)and have been up the hill and past the bali but have never been in but it sounds as if it will be suitable, thanks

As in my previous post we are going to the Bali for 2 weeks on Friday, can anyone tell me:

1) How good the kids club is with Thomson, how many hours, how many days etc.

2) Does the hotel have internet access if so how much per hour, 20 mins etc.

3) What is a studio compared to a room we haave been quoted 10 euros per night for stuido as opposed to room as we are half board

Many thanks

Looking to go to the Bali later in the year, can anyone tell me if this is a non-smoking hotel or are there smoking areas. Also, are the bars in the area still open end of November early December.
Thanks.

degsy01. The Bali like all Spanish hotels are non smoking, but there is a smoking area in the concert room.
Most of the bars are open, but as you would expect are quieter.

jodieh12. The bali has great entertainment for children of all ages.Organised by my good friend Victor.
There is if I remember 3 computer terminals in the concert room.I seem to remember its something like 1 euro for 10 minutes.
I havnt seen the studios since they were built, but I assume its a typical layout of seperate bedrooms with living room kitchen/breakfast bar.I seem to remember there might be photos on the Bali web site.

Yes, it's 1 euro for 10 mins, the same firm has a contract with all the other hotels in the medplaya group, whether that be the Pez Espada in Torremolinos or the Regente in Benidorm.

Hi,we are staying in the Bali at the start of july ,half board, read some reviews saying some rooms are a bit shabby, can anyone tell of a good room high up overlooking the pool or sea view, hopefully, then i can e-mail them and ask for that room.thanks

Turn left out of the Bali and walk up to the junction. Turn right and go over to the next street, Carre. de Cadiz. You will find an Internet cafe. €1 per hr.

Shaz, ask for a high room with a view of the Marina. We found the Bali to be one of the best hotels that we have stayed in, the food and wine being very good. Read my review.

Shaz, ask for a room in Bali2. The hotel is in three blocks. Bali1 were the receiption and bar are, Bali2 looks out towards the sea and Bali3 the self catering apartments. If I remember rightly the rooms are numbered something like 2234. First two is for Bali2, second 2 is for floor 2 then room 34. You would want a room starting 28.
